Boluwaji Durogbola is an accomplished agricultural management professional known for his expertise in project coordination and strategic planning.
His passion for agriculture was ignited during his Industrial Training experience in year 4, when he was attached to the horticulture department of the state Ministry of Agriculture.
There, he honed his skills in citrus budding and upon his return, he established his own citrus nursery farm.
After relocating to Ibadan following his studies, Boluwaji embarked on a full-scale farm venture.
Although faced with numerous challenges, he remained determined and committed to his agricultural pursuits. To further enhance his knowledge and skills, he sought out various agricultural trainings with esteemed organizations such as The Federal Ministry of Agriculture, IITA, Hello Tractor, and GIZ.
Currently, Boluwaji serves as an Agronomy Trials Manager at the National Institute for Agricultural Botany (NIAB) in Cambridge, UK. In this role, he is responsible for the daily care of research trial crops and collects field data for analysis and reporting.
Additionally, he generously offers his expertise as a Volunteer Country Delivery Partnership Manager at Bees Abroad UK.
In this capacity, he meticulously reviews project applications, conducts due diligence processes, strengthens relationships with the project network, and coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure successful partnership outcomes.
Prior to his current positions, Boluwaji held the role of Director of Agro-Services at African Wealth Initiatives in Nigeria. In this role, he adeptly designed and executed organizational goals and work plans, forged valuable partnerships, and provided leadership and guidance to high-performing teams.
As an Operations Manager at Farmeasy Agro Services, he played a pivotal role in optimizing operational efficiency, implementing effective hiring and training strategies, and devising revenue generation plans to foster substantial growth.
Boluwaji’s dedication to agricultural excellence was also showcased during his time as a Farm Supervisor at Koncasav International Ltd, where he successfully managed farm operations, fostered community relationships, and maximized productivity and efficiency.
Boluwaji holds a Master’s degree in Agribusiness from Rome Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Crop, Soil, and Pest Management from The Federal University of Technology in Nigeria.
